The Nursing Computer Lab Coordinator is available to assist students in their learning. As well, our peer mentoring program allows nursing students to assist their peers with learning. Peer Mentors are 3rd or 4th year nursing students who are hired into the lab based on recommendations by Clinical Instructors. Peer Mentors are available at select times daily to assist students with skill practice.

Nursing Foundation lab is a patient simulator. Nursing is an art and science that needs a lot of practice. The Nursing Foundation lab is the practical area of the students, where they perform all nursing procedures prior to the exposure to the clinical field. The faculty uses the lab for various demonstrations of procedures in nursing.  This spacious laboratory is well equipped with patient simulator, cardiopulmonary resuscitation mannequin, life form hand simulation, etc. in addition to the facilities in real ward situation.

Nutrition lab is equipped with all the facilities for the students to assess the nutritional needs and to prepare different menus for various disease conditions. This well ventilate lab has the capacity to accommodate 30- 50 students for their interactive training in nutrition.

This clinical application course guides the student in providing comprehensive care for ill children. The student will engage in a variety of learning experiences within the hospital and the simulation setting. Emphasis will be placed on the nursing process as a basis for holistic patient assessment as it relates to the delivery of informed nursing care. Goal-directed care will be underscored with respect to achieving an optimal level of functioning throughout the course of illness, including the end of life.

Department of OBG provides comprehensive knowledge and skills required to work and perform as able midwives in various health care settings. The department’s policy is directed toward the provision of quality professional services and performs the task holistically with reference to the women, neonates and their families.

The Assisi College of Nursing Library located in Erumely, Kottayam Dist. Kerala. It is a fantastic resource for nurses undertaking study, particularly B.Sc/GNM nursing students.  The library has close links to other nursing and health libraries in Kerala and can easily be accessed by ACN students and members in all parts of india and overseas. ACN students and members have access to online library services and our specialist library staff undertake individual searches and provide advice on a wide range of subjects.

The ACN hostel offers comfortable stay for the students within the campus during their course of study. The hostel is clean and comfortable, and each room is provided with adequate facilities for stay and study. The hostel has a Visitors’ Lounge, Recreation Hall, Study Hall, Chapel facilities for Indoor Games, Magazines Reading and Television.

The campus has a vast 1-acre playground, which is ideal for playing cricket, football and kabaddi and conducting track events. The playground also gives students ample scope for physical exercise. An indoor recreation hall located within the institute provides facilities for games such as carom, chess, etc. Students are also encouraged to participate actively in cultural activities and competitions.

We have full-fledged transport department to manage a fleet of transport facilities for ease commutation of students, staff and faculties. Currently operates three deluxe buses to enable easy commutation of students from college to adopted hospitals.

In the college campus there is a chapel where the students attend holy mass, pray the rosary and spend time in silent prayer which is very essential in the life of human beings. It helps the students to achieve knowledge as well as spiritual growth.
